Damage assessment documentation between Torgau and Wittenberg

The disastrous Elbe flood between Torgau and Wittenberg: Overlay of Landsat 7 ETM+ Scenes of August 14 and 20, 2002. The flooded areas are highlighted in light blue, whereas the original Elbe river is coloured in dark blue. South of the Black Elster estuary, the Elbe flooded villages and agricultural land on a 12 kilometer width area.
